Bio

Kofi started to learn to play the piano at age 14, and began playing in his local church at 15. Playing at his church meant he had to learn by ear, and this helped develop the creative side of his musical ability. He spent a lot of his time on the piano creating his own melodies and experimenting with various chord progressions. It wasn't, however, until he was 19 that he began to write songs to go with these melodies. And he began recording a year later.

 

He released his first single Joy in 2020, and has released two further singles since. He is currently working on his debut studio EP Faith. Kofi is known generally for his ability on the piano, having showcased several short clips in the past. Having played at various venues including The Ned Hotel, the House of Commons and the Big Church Day Out, he has gained experience playing for several talented singers and spoken word artists. Now he is looking to make a breakthrough as an established songwriter and producer in addition to this, with the aspiration of helping the British gospel industry increase its global presence.
